My name is Benilde, owner of BC Quilt Shop, I have been quilting for about ten years but my journey into sewing started at a very young age, I had a grandma that would make a dress without a pattern, old school. As I grew up, I was able to take a class in Junior high and I learned to love sewing. When my daughter was younger, I picked up sewing again and made almost all her Halloween costumes, first communion dress, various costumes for school activities and learned to do hem work since she was a dancer too. I do more t-shirt quilts, various quilts including memory quilts, embroidery work, bags, pillows, baby quilts, and weighted blankets. I enjoy working with fabrics and making them into something beautiful and useful.

Toodie Towels are hooded towels for kids, and came to be out of necessity in our house. When my toddler grew out of his baby towels, I couldn’t find one in the usual places I shop that fit all of my requirements: high quality, cute and affordable. So…I made a few for him and eventually they became a popular birthday gift among his friends! Every Toodie Towel is made using a thick, full size, 100% cotton bath towel with an embellished hood. So they fit kids of all ages. We use our Toodie Towels at bath time and at the swimming pool. They are also perfect for the beach and make great gifts.
All towels ordered through the website are custom-made based on the colors & design you choose. We are based in Austin, Texas.
Crackpot Clay Designs
Doreen Landrum has been working with clay for about 12 years. What started out as just something to try on days off has become a favorite thing to do. She sells locally but mostly makes pieces by commission.
All of her pieces are either hand built, or thrown on a wheel. They must be dried to a leather-hard stage, then can be altered or trimmed. When completely dry, they are fired to a porous state. They are then glazed and re-fired to the sturdy stoneware you see in the pictures. Although she might use a non-food safe glaze on a purely decorative piece, most of the pieces are food, microwave, dishwasher, and even oven-safe. Glazes won’t always turn out the same, so expect there to be differences, even within a set.
Spicewood Saucy Sauceworks
A love of all things spicy, inspired a family business. We create artisan hot sauces that are fermented and aged to bring layers of flavor to your plate. Our sauces are Louisiana style- but like nothing you’ve tasted before! We are all about balancing heat and flavor, not just burning your taste buds out! We use the very best ingredients that we can grow or source.
We work together to bring you the very best from our family to yours.
La Luna Glass
What started as a fascination and mutual interest with some close friends, blossomed into a small business. I am an Austin local artist, creating out of my home studio. Glass, crystal and natural stones are beautiful and fascinating to me. The colors and textures are uplifting, surreal, calming. To most of our pieces we add charms and amulets for a personal touch.
